Didnapper is a fun RPG for adults developed by DID Games. Fans of dirty, full-blown sex scenes surely won’t like it. I haven’t seen any wet pussy or real fucking for two hours of gaming. However, there are those among us who do not care about this part of porn gaming. They prefer kidnapping, tying up, and gagging whatever comes to them. If you look at Didnapper in this way, then it’s a pretty good RPG for adults, as I said from the beginning.

DID Games means “damsels in distress”. The same message is reflected in the title of their game. I didn’t even think about the fact that some people really get turned on by kidnappings and escapes. It seemed to me that ropes, whips, and chains are BDSM aspects, and there can be no other options. And then I came across Didnapper. You play as a princess who finds herself in a shitty situation and tries to get out of it. She gets kidnapped and escapes. If you think that everything then went as in an ordinary fairy tale you are wrong. There won’t be a beautiful Prince on a white horse, a wedding, and a quiet life in the Palace. You join the kidnappers’ guild as a Princess and start doing this shit yourself. You can kidnap people or rescue them depending on whether they fulfill your whims.

Kidnapping, people love doing it

Sounds super fun, right? I mean, you have a kidnap fetish, you found Didnapper, and now you’re playing the Princess who does this. But in fact, things are not so rosy. You can only technically kidnap women. Why? No idea. Ask the developers these questions.

The communication between men is minimal. The creators of the game tried to remove all the scenes where the guys interact. You can punch another dude in the face and that’s the end of your relationship. Some may like this approach, but I believe that the game cannot be good and interesting without full communication with all the characters.

You have more opportunities with girls. Imagine that you’ve found some girl in the woods. She is tied with chains and ropes to a tree. You can release her and leave her in the Guild, you can let her go, or you can punish her and send her to a sex dungeon. This girl can be interrogated there and a small dialogue can be made up.

Despite such shortcomings, Didnapper has undeniable advantages. The first one is the unique mechanics of the escape. It’s always nice to see how developers add something of their own to the existing formula of role-playing games from RPG Maker. Escape in this game is part of the main gameplay. You can be captured while completing a task, while capturing another hero, or in a regular battle. In short, you’d better be on alert. There are no factors that help you understand that just a bit later you will be captured. Everything happens quickly and unexpectedly. Moreover, running away is not as easy as it seems.

The developers have boasted about their unique combat system. However, I still see turn-based combat from RPG Maker, which has nothing unique. The enemy is waiting while you choose how to hit him and then hit back. But something unusual still exists. I speak about the atmosphere of battles, escapes, RPG game design, and gameplay in general. For example, each escape is like a mini-game where you have to untie the knots with your hands, feet, or even your mouth. There are various hints on the screen. If you are to escape successfully, use them.

All in all, dude, Didnapper isn’t exactly a porn game, but it’s a cool and fun RPG with gags for adults. Tie up, gag your victim, and don’t let her get away. Beat the bad guys and enjoy the gameplay. Although you will not find real BDSM here, you will like the constant references to it.
